cliffs of moher

hi all

i took the opportunity of my day off today to go ont he day tour of the burren and clifs of moher. last two thursdays were forcast bad, so i didn't go but they were nice days. today was forecast bad int he afternoon - and was true to the report. but it didn't get foggy till we had seen all the important things. i wish i could drive round instead - its so stop and click, stop and click. but it was cool - the burren is an area where the mountains are covered in limestone rocks and nothing else. and there was castles (small) and tombs (broken) and churches (ruined by oliver cromwell) and a bus driver who was hilarious of course and made peole think they was something to see and then said its the leprechauns. apparently i should have gotten it for free cos i work at the guesthouse so my next day trip up to connemara (means beside the sea) will be free.

have helped my wardrobe out a bit against the cold - but the rain is still getting me down. no point in umbrellas cos of the wind. but you know - its why ireland is so green so i can't complain.

costly internet

hi all

well you know unfortunately i can't get free uni int anymore which is why i won't be blogging to often

but i went up to sligo - pretty town - for the digital film fest. i felt like our documentary was quite poor quality - anyway it was stretched for the screen - i look forward to bigger and better things - i just had fun with people in the hostel who convinced me to go to germany if i can. the after screeniungs venue was too big and loud to make contacts - unless i walked round with a sign on me saying r u a film person?

so today is my day off - i am going to watch pride and prejudice - should be good fun - and maybe go to this philosophy work shop thing thats starting and is on every thursday evening. just gonna catch up with friends tonight and tomorrow and start sorting out my visa.
time really is flying by - its getting colder and colder - but at home its getting warmer and wamer - so buying any clothes is really confusing!
