cliffs of moher

hi all

i took the opportunity of my day off today to go ont he day tour of the burren and clifs of moher. last two thursdays were forcast bad, so i didn't go but they were nice days. today was forecast bad int he afternoon - and was true to the report. but it didn't get foggy till we had seen all the important things. i wish i could drive round instead - its so stop and click, stop and click. but it was cool - the burren is an area where the mountains are covered in limestone rocks and nothing else. and there was castles (small) and tombs (broken) and churches (ruined by oliver cromwell) and a bus driver who was hilarious of course and made peole think they was something to see and then said its the leprechauns. apparently i should have gotten it for free cos i work at the guesthouse so my next day trip up to connemara (means beside the sea) will be free.

have helped my wardrobe out a bit against the cold - but the rain is still getting me down. no point in umbrellas cos of the wind. but you know - its why ireland is so green so i can't complain.
